Data deletion request

If you have an active account, log in and request deletion through your account settings for faster processing. If you can’t log in, email us and we’ll handle it for you.

Delete your account in the app

Mapiddiction users

Log in to app.mapiddiction.com, go to Profile, then Privacy. Select “Delete My Account” and follow the on-screen instructions.

PatientVR users

Log in to app.patientvr.com and follow the account deletion steps in your account settings.

Other Mobiddiction apps

Apps we assemble and run on Mobiddiction’s M4 platform support self-service account deletion. Look for the delete account option in the app’s account or privacy settings. If your app doesn’t show one, email us using the steps below.

By Email

Can’t access your account?

If you’re unable to log in to your account or don’t remember your login details, you can still request data deletion by contacting us directly.

Email request method

Send an email to contactus@mobiddiction.com.au with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.

Please include the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Which service you used (Mapiddiction, PatientVR, or other Mobiddiction service)
  • Any other identifying information (username, account ID if known)
  • Brief description of why you cannot access your account (optional)
What Happens Next

Our response times

  • Within 5 business days

    We’ll confirm receipt of your request and may contact you to verify your identity.

  • Within 30 days

    Your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

  • Confirmation

    You’ll receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Your Data

What data will be deleted?

  • Your account information (name, email, profile details)
  • Usage history and preferences
  • Device pairings and authentication tokens
  • Workspace memberships and associations
  • Content library and saved settings

When you delete your account in an app we run on M4, your name, email address and profile details are removed straight away, and the remaining account record is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Data we may retain

Some data may be retained for legal or business purposes:

  • Transaction records (required by law for 7 years)
  • Anonymised analytics data (cannot identify you)
  • Data required to resolve disputes or prevent fraud
VR Apps

VR application users (Meta Quest)

If you use our VR applications on Meta Quest devices, deleting your data with us will remove:

  • Your Meta User ID and profile information we’ve stored
  • VR headset pairings and authentication
  • Content access and subscription records

Note: To delete data held by Meta about your Meta Quest usage, you must contact Meta directly through your Meta account settings. See your Meta Quest privacy settings.
